a rule of thumb is it's never ok to say or imply that trans women are men. even if they are being shitty. that's not a lever you pull.
There are certain categories of insults where if you call a horrible person that, we can assume you want to use it a lot more often and you said “Ah! This person! I can use it for this person and it’s okay!”
