It's National Truth and Reconciliation Day here in Canada, serving as a reminder and memorial of Indigenous lives taken and families destroyed by Canadian settlers, and the continuing pain in Indigenous communities across the land.

As a white settler, I try to help where I can, especially after seeing government efforts stall in recent years. Help folks out locally, support artists, contact the government, etc. Decolonization is a very long project, but every bit helps.
