just more reasons why we need to dismantle capitalism, house the homeless, and provide free resources--like computers and internet, in this instance--to all.

*i only say "in theory" because generally you're still gonna at least need access to a computer or some sort of device on which you can record. and it sucks that there are so many people who CAN'T access such tools for one reason or another.

i don't care if it's listenable. i don't care if i like it or not, or if you do for that matter. it doesn't matter. free expression through art is an inherent good, and i would never want that to be taken away from people. the democratization of music is one of the greatest achievements of our time.

people making "bad" (as in "poorly made") music is an inherent good, as these people are able to express themselves in a way that they would not have done otherwise.

genuinely happy that the tools to create & record music are so accessible now that literally anyone can (in theory) create something w/o any musical knowledge whatsoever. i'd rather there be more ppl creating art ineptly vs only seasoned pros with major resources be the only ones who are making it.
