I notice it’s normal to have an “add on splurge” if they’re adding friends starting a new account or after a convention. But thousands seems a bit unrealistic.

That’s happening right here in the Sutherland Shire too at the moment. Not the general recycling bins, they are stealing from the Cash On Collection bins. People are now cancelling their subscriptions because if the bins are empty or stolen they owner is charged for the “no show”! Not fair.

Spambots are here. Easy to spot: Nobody can genuinely and fairly be following 5000+ accounts at once. That’s just totally ridiculous and creepy. But many artists can have 5000+ following them if they’re well known. That’s realistic. There’s a difference between Following and Being Followed!

Would rather it stay put here and not shared about. Crap world out there I’m afraid. I’ve just learnt today not adding hashtags helps prevents “publicising” on lists, so hopefully that will solve most of the problems.
