I am overjoyed and so grateful to have been awarded the Galway Doctoral Research Scholarship, which will enable me to pursue a funded PhD at the University of Galway under the supervision of Dr. Róisín Healy. I will be researching pre-Famine Irish lacemaking networks with continental Europe.
