He’s hammering “election interference” a lot lately in hopes that when his minions who’ve insinuated themselves into the electoral bureaucracy ACTUALLY try to interfere with the election, pointing it out sounds like tired boilerplate political rhetoric.
This is the point more broadly for all of his lies. Not to convince anyone of anything but to create a post truth environment where people don't have any foundation in objective reality.
