It's not the mic that made this a story. It's that he stood around for ~15 minutes without speaking. He didn't go shake hands, didn't talk to nearby attendees, didn't go back to the green room. Just wandered around the stage.

Yeah I know. Still not much of a story. His brain/speech glitches and questionable economics otoh? I’d like to see those covered more.
