A lovely leucistic Barnacle Goose at Aberlady today. Before that, nothing in the bushes but 15 Little Gull and 2 Sooty Shear at Gullane Pt and 5 Sooty at Whitesands. A few flocks of Barnies south off the coast and first of season Goldeneye and Purple Sand. #birdinglothian#ukbirding
Good day for Shearwaters in the Forth today with 24 Sooty and 432 Manx all east past Gullane Point in 2hrs 15mins late morning. Easily my best day for them in Lothian. Also a bonus Marsh Harrier passing inland at Aberlady. #birdinglothian#ukbirding

Good to get close views of this Yellow-legged Gull at Cromer yesterday while on a family holiday nearby. YLG is a rare bird in Scotland with 1cy birds being exceptionally rare. #ukbirding
Snatched pic of ad male HH passing through the area last night (2 in the last 3 days) and this pm at Gullane Point, 2 ad pale-morph Poms together west past and 2 female-type Scaup flew in with Common Scoter flock to mix with Eider.#Lothian #ukbirding
