Agree with every single word in this article. I can't complain because being in the Toronto we more often than not get the streaming films in theaters but this would have done pretty well theatrically if Apple hadn't chickend out after Fly Me To the Moon tanked

A hidden culprit in all this is that movie theaters are too damn expensive. I have a ticket stub from 2001—when OCEAN'S 11 was released—for a 9pm Saturday movie and it was $6. If WOLFS was in that exact same theater at the same time, it would cost $17.99.
The bleak irony here is that most people I know are full-up at two or three streaming services, with anything outside of Netflix, Amazon, and Hulu falling by the wayside. And with Tubi out there, I have zero FOMO for anything on any streaming services, especially Apple's. (1/2)
