I'm starting to see a few large groups of fungi about now on my walks into Norwich. The first ones are False Chanterelle, Hygrophoropsis aurantiaca on wood chips, whilst the others are Paxillus sp. (perhaps P. obscuriporus but not checked yet) growing with birch on amenity grassland. 🍄📷

A close up of several orange fungi, one overturned to show the gills, on woodchips
A wider shot of a patch of woodchips covered with numerous orange fungi
A patch of lawn with around 20 brown fungi visible
A close up of a group of brown Paxillus species, the middle one having a large circular cap with water collecting in the centre.
