It's like my tumblr experience so far, I'm only subject to what I look up. Plus I'm not fighting for as much real estate on people's feeds (yet).

Also George Ledoux, the voice of the Royal Advisor (among others) acknowledged me on Twitter and I kinda wanted to cry. That voice has been burned into my brain for over twenty years, lol. x.com/GLedouxVoice...

MAJESTY! Majesty is a unique blend of RTS, management sim, and a touch of tower defense, and there has never been another game like it. Herding your heroes around with reward money, blowing your treasury on casting wizard spells, screaming when you hear your tax collector die AGAIN, it's good shit.

Kairosoft games! I'm counting them as one since there's a ton and they tend to have similarities. Kairosoft puts out a new game every four-six months or so, and almost without fail, they're cheap, charming, and fun to revisit. If you want fun management sims on the go, Kairosoft's your team!

And now a classic, Grandia II! Grandia II is a wonderful JRPG that's held up over the decades. Fantastic voice acting (courtesy of a ton of MGS alumni plus THE LITTLE FREAKIN' MERMAID HERSELF), unique fast-paced combat that rewards planning, fascinating story. First game to make me cry.

Of course, I have to mention Baldur's Gate 3. It needs no introduction. Amazing game in every sense of the word. Bought it on launch weekend and spent every free hour for the next two months playing. I love my Tav, Vier, so goddamn much, and Astarion was built in a lab for me.

Alright, back to it. Here's one I haven't played in an age and miss dearly: Rock Band! So many nights spent with my best buddy in high school groaning when we had to play In Bloom yet again or rapping Testify in a stupid high pitched voice. Also I loved my little band babies so much I drew them.

(goofy Ebichu pic used because I don't want to go looking for a gif and getting spoiled accidentally lol) Also while I'm here, I want to say I genuinely love that Clive cries. He doesn't do the manly man grimace while someone else does the emoting for him. He chokes up. It's wonderful.

And of course, Final Fantasy XVI! While I will forever mourn the loss of turn-based combat, I had faith Yoshi-P could pull this series from the doldrums AND HE DID. I love the whiplash between the GoT-lite story and TOKU AS FUCK eikon kaiju fights. Not done with it yet, but I love this game.

I'll keep on the FF train here for a few posts, lol. Final Fantasy XIV! Guild Wars 2 may have been the first MMO I enjoyed, but FFXIV is the first one I've played for longer than one expansion. Excellent story, fun fights, and LOOK AT MY BABY WINTER OWL I LOVE HER SHE'S SO COOL.
