I used to think I knew what a housewife was until the one-two punch of Desperate Housewives and the Real Housewives taught me that ousewives have jobs outside the home and sometimes don’t even have husbands? I guess now it just means woman?
I mean, they could be selling "Kingwood Housewife" lifestyle, which is akin to a rich dude's trophy wife: living a very easy but very limited life. However, that's not what actual "housewife" lifestyles will be for the majority of people.
