So hypoadrenalism is the clinical syndrome while Addison's is one cause of it? Cortisol and ACTH test are how you assess for adrenal insuff, then autoimmune tests identify Addison's as cause. Ok. If it's underutilized, what do you think it should be used to work up? Any depression/fatigue?

I would like to see doctors using a baseline a.m. cortisol level a lot more often. It’s a good way to keep an eye on immune function. And if patients show adrenal symptoms, and they aren’t being explained by anything else, an ACTH stim test is warranted imo.
