Just gonna preface shit now; I don’t care about Florida being a hell state because of politics. A lot of people I love and/or care deeply about are in Milton’s path, and all I can do is hope they’ve boarded up well, evacuated, or anything else. If I see people applauding suffering, I’m blocking.

Exactly! I hope that the people in the path of this hurricane are able to seek shelter and safety, regardless of politics.

You don't abandon an area because there's a number of opponents. You continue to fight and hope they change sides so you can effect change. If you abandon the area, it will just fall deeper into opponent's control.

Only a scumbag would applaud a region being hit by a natural disaster. It's a real dogshit action considering the fact that the boundless hatred of southern states' citizens comes from a hatred of impoverished folk, not because of the racist government officials who rig elections in their favor.

I'm surprised that people are even applauding their suffering at all. I haven't seen it myself and I hope it isn't a common phenomenon.
