It seems Bluesky lost the opportunity to become the new Twitter. They were not prepared for the influx in the good time, and Threads got everything. And it is just good and cool.

Your observation is from July, that's when I started my Mastodon account. Now also on Bluesky where still an invitation code is needed to join. Apparently, Bluesky does not yet feel ready for the full plunge, which maybe is better than spooking the broad public with still missing features.

I think they have a lot of time. Exodus is just begining
