I think it's more that with the p0rn ban on tumblr and all the notsfw artists escaping to twt the existence of lewd art became a lot more mainstream and this gave app developers the excuse to not want that on their app since the appstores are very strict, so they applied rules to drawings as well

But yeah, I think having ants among mods means that if ppl were to like, group report a post it would definitely get taken down
