I've been working on polishing up my old Dr.Mario clone for NES. It's got fancy modern features like hard drops and ghost pieces and you can play it fast. But it was always pretty bare visually and I want to fix that. forums.nesdev.org/viewtopic.ph...#nes#neshomebrew

Now my Dr.Mario clone has 8 backgrounds/themes you can pick from, and the themes will also work during multiplayer when previously that just had nothing. I feel a lot better about the game not being bare now; the menus still are but that's OK. forums.nesdev.org/viewtopic.ph...#nes#nesdev
