I’ve never seen such an effort to make sure it wouldn’t matter to the audience. It worked. It was one of the more enthusiastic audiences I’ve heard. They missed one gag because there wasn’t the bandwidth. Tom coming out and slapping a sign with his name on the lectern. No time to make the sign.
