In the early days, I’d be sent to the west cost shows a lot. Then technology made production easier. So no reason to have crew of 3 for the road. This was the first remote I’ve done since 2005 ish most days I’m facilitating & fixing audio from NPR West. Though next month I’ll be at the RNC

I’ve never seen such an effort to make sure it wouldn’t matter to the audience. It worked. It was one of the more enthusiastic audiences I’ve heard. They missed one gag because there wasn’t the bandwidth. Tom coming out and slapping a sign with his name on the lectern. No time to make the sign.
