I already like how positive it is around here, and tbh I quite like the lack of algorithms because I can build my feed to my liking
For the time being, you can work around this by commenting "bookmark" under a post you want to save and then you can use the search function to find it again anytime. In the search field you can type from:me bookmark And it will find every post, comment, and reply by you where you typed bookmark
