This is good: If it's just the waiting area that is a concern, ask if you can wait somewhere else. They may let you sit outside, or they might even have a spare room you can use.

It's usually pretty quick, but last time, I had the blood draw itself in a tiny separate room from the rest of the area - that plus maybe my mask at the time not being a perfect fit, I ended up getting sick 😫
