I read the headline and my first thought was that whoever he arrested killed him and dumped the car and his body in the river, making him the victim. That’s fucked up.

Journalism in this country is nearly all farce.

That alternate headline, while probably true, would have screwed that ABC’ affiliate’s reporting access to those cops for years… I’m never surprised when reporting the truth takes a back seat to continued access.

The American cops have just found a new way to kill you. But at the 1:1 death rate the will soon be no cops left.

The fact that both it being his first arrest and the status of the patrol vehicle are more important than the woman he killed just says everything about the status of women in the US.

Let's wait for all of the information to come out before rushing to judgement. Perhaps the woman was accused of witchcraft.
