I'm a small government conservative, except when it comes to empowering the state to take the life of a human being on the basis of being found guilty by a justice system which, as a small government conservative, I do not trust.
The conservative point of view is the the government can't be trusted with anything but deciding who to murder.
Very Christian of those justices.
