I think that abuse of power became a bit of a thing leading up to her "cancellation". Also the Netflix special laundry service hasn't been all that effective in cleaning the selective comedian, CEO & other celebrities public reputation, in fact if you actually bother to watch them,it makes it worse.

Yeah I’ve seen some of them and few make anything better, but I assumed Ellen’s crimes were less grievous so her route back might be different. I like the performance, but I probably don’t understand the level of scandal in the first place - she is very euphemistic about it
