Also, women married pretty late in their twenties, as soon as they could find gainful employment outside of their own homes. Early teen marriages were not really a thing. Romantic love and partnership were not “invented” in the 19th century.

Absolutely, it's such a fun historical tidbit that the catholic church already during the middle ages were one of the biggest proponents for romantic love and allowing youths to marry for love, rather than political or economic advantages.
