Speaking as someone on the spectrum: Autism Speaks isn't necessarily bad for suggesting that autism is something that should be cured, but they are bad because they offer bad advice that ends up harming autistic people rather than helping them.

The biggest obstacle to UBI are people who get upset at the prospect of other people getting things. Like, for some reason some people get their panties in a bunch whenever "someone who doesn't contribute to society" gets any sort of assistance, as if they don't deserve it. I don't get it.
