Hah! I once heard something walking across the bed slowly, then in my hair. I put the light on in time to see an enormous spider, probably a huntsman, disappear down the back of the bed and I was not strong enough to be able to shift it on my own. Not much sleep was had that night.

Waikouaiti is getting messy now too. But I'm fine. State of Emergency seemed a good enough excuse to make a microwave self-saucing chocolate pud - in the middle of the afternoon!

Yup, and it's not planning on stopping till 11pm tonight!

I could swim laps around the backyard but it isn't coming in, so I'm fine in Waikouaiti.
