Well, like anything, engagement is what you make of it. The thinking that there's needs to be X number of people to feel full is self-defeating. Find people, follow people, listen to and interact with people, and the fulfillment will follow.

Some game companies will never leave X, and that's ok. Just like having a Facebook account still, it's okay to go back and visit from time to time, or just using it for a specific purpose, like keeping up with news. But for general sociability, nah, X hasn't been good for months.

That's some of it, but there are also *specific* people I wanted to keep in interaction with, but they never really moved over. Some created an account but never actually showed up. I need more of my friends to decide to stay.
