We have *so much* research on the damage that corporal punishmnet does, and I get more pushback on "stop spanking your kids" than almost anything else I post other than "the Oxford comma is important" and "politics are messy".

If we (parents as a whole) admit it's wrong then we have to figure out what to do instead and given ~everything~ who has the energy or the time? I'm not being flippant. It's a hard thing we ask and people are very afraid to be wrong. It means they hurt their kids and their parents hurt them. 💔
