This machine is a Windows 95 PC with some wires out the back, taped to my arms. Windows 95. I say to the guy that’s old kit. He says it’s on purpose. They tried the “next version” of the software and hated it. “Too much things we didn’t need.” It’s not connected to the network so it doesn’t update.
As frustrating as these stories are it’s heartening to hear people talk with such passion about how to address the issues, where complexities are etc. I love that people care about fixing this stuff. Fix the plumbing. Stop relying on magic. Listen to users.
