Testing out my Glasgow interface explorer - managed to dump a NAND flash easily, something that was often way more annoying! Some quick notes on the process here: colinoflynn.com/2024/04/dump...

Right now your I/O trigger would be limited to just the rising or falling edge of TMS/TDI/TCK. So you'd need to know when a command gets executed. Eventually would be nice to have more intelligence so could send full commands to execute and trigger while continuing to send.

Quick weekend project: ChipWhisperer-Husky front-panel connection can be used as JTAG. All done in Python (code is at github.com/colinoflynn/...). Important part is since it's via Python, you can set a trigger to occur when a specific I/O transition happens & trigger power analysis or FI.

My plan is to drill out the damaged part & replace with brass. Step 1 was done already which was to remake the needle screw. They are easily available but it's a quick thing to make, and don't need to wait for shipping! Some of them seemed to be out of brass anyway.

Non electronic projects... was supposed to be a quick rebuild of Holley 1940 carburetor on an old boat engine. Discovered some casting damage that will make it more involved!
