Thank goodness. Frankly, I've got my fingers crossed for the next 33+ hours.

I don't even think of them as individual books anymore. On rereads, I now omit the POVs I don't care about, esp. since I don't think we'll ever see TWOW or ADOS. No more Victarion, Arianne or Essos POVs (except Arya). (If GRRM surprises me, hahahahahaha, I'll worry about a full reread, maybe.)

Wow, makes me wonder what I've read of yours and if I should slap myself if I enjoyed it.

It sounds confusing & a major undertaking. Is this a personal goal you've set for yourself?

That landed like a punch in the gut. Such a talented, beautiful man. What a terrible loss.

I listen to a bunch of podcasts that discuss books, generally chapter by chapter. When the hosts read sections aloud, I'm surprised how often words are mispronounced. They seem clear about the meanings, but obviously never HEARD them used. It bothers me & has me curious as to why it's so frequent

Sometimes he says Puh-TIRE - the violence is real. I've often wondered who's supposed to be responsible for consistency in pronunciation, the audiobook's director? I'm currently following a podcast, an amateur reading a fanfic. Bless her heart, but she obliterates quite a few words - not names.
