Some aspects of my modernized G1 (classics) collection have tilted into the "I doubt seriously these get updates" realm. Specifically Pretenders... I've actually started hunting down pristine G1 Pretenders to take up those spots in the catalog.

I realize some dudes like Skullgrin and Iguanus have had figures in modern times. The reality is that while they're decent, there doesn't appear to be a proper plan for the subcategory. Plus, the shell dudes look pretty cool on shelf.

Yeah, there's just not enough love for them, especially the shells. But terribly concerned about picking up anything almost 40 years old and having it crumble/turn to goo in a short time.
