It would be amazing to have more sensitivity when it comes to mental illnesses. It's disgraceful that people pretend they have a mental illness without getting diagnosed properly.

Most people I know who aren't close to their family aren't looking to be "absorbed" by their partner's family either but if you can find the ones that do, more power to you I guess.

Absolutely. IRL it’s easier to recognize. Even offering solutions is often ignored. Online it’s much harder to decipher what people desire. Above all: I believe people just want to be recognized for who they are outside of everything else. More empathy & love is needed. But it’s tiring AF. 🤣

Responding to texts in a timely fashion is unnatural and should not be an expectation.

I prefer to leave on read receipts for text messages.
