Modern fandom: Recommending something to a friend and going "They're hoping for a season 2 but it does wrap up in a satisfying way, it's not a cliffhanger". (Kaos. It definitely has a "much more to explore" ending, but so do most stories, it doesn't leave you mid-story like some.)

I hate that modern Fandom has become this.

It's *an* ending, but not necessarily *the* ending. And that's fine. Leaving viewers wanting more is fine.
