giving melatonin to kids in a school setting is WILD. melatonin for kids is not FDA approved! sleep supplements in general aren't FDA approved! in many countries you can't even buy melatonin for ADULTS without a prescription! i'm truly flabbergasted by this

Also, melatonin’s related to circadian rhythms when it comes to the Real Sleep you do at nighttime. It’s not like a muscle relaxant or an herbal medicine you’d take to calm down. Giving an adult-sized dose to kids in the middle of the day is going to seriously screw up their sleep schedule.

I mean, my sister got suspended for sharing her Tylenol, so not only is this a legal question, it’s got to clearly be against school policy. Everyone involved absolutely knew better.
