Today’s attack was an even worse failure. Last time, the bulk of the weapons used were drones. Today it was their vaunted hypersonic ballistic missiles according to Iranian TV (which, based on interceptions, seem to be putting the hype in hypersonic!).

I have a feeling that Iran's decision to launch those ballistic missiles will age poorly,,,

And sadly, whatever career setbacks Nuzzi suffers from the latest scandal will likely be temporary at best. 😐

There are no methods of attack that are going to be 100% free from innocent bystanders being killed or injured. It certainly was more selective than the usual air strikes or drone strikes in urban areas. I think it’s the novel “delivery” method of these attacks that have so greatly unsettled us.

Yeah, my personal opinion is that this operation is the prelude to a cross border incursion to deal with the rocket launch sites. Israel has thrown Hezbollah‘s command structure into chaos making what comes next easier. And the repositioning of the 98th only solidifies it.

This form of attack is awkward because it’s different than usual state responses. But at the same time, would the critics prefer Israel to do air strikes (which claim more bystanders) against Hezbollah to stop the rockets? Cross border incursions into southern Lebanon? It’s uncharted territory. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I carried one for close to two decades until I left hospital-based medicine. I hated them. I was famous as a resident for accidentally flushing the arrest pager down the toilet at 3am (and I learned that I wasn’t the only member of that club where I trained!😂).

Reuters is reporting that they were from a Taiwanese company called Gold Apollo. I think the Mossad got somewhere into the supply chain and added a little bit of explosive to these pagers (this company still makes some pagers that use AAA batteries).

The Mossad must have inserted themselves somewhere in the supply chain to pull this off. Reuters is saying that the pavers were from the Gold Apollo brand out of Taiwan.
