The results of my investigation are shocking. If data brokers can help extremists target misinformation to patients at Planned Parenthood, right-wing prosecutors in red states could use that same information to put women in jail. Protecting Americans' private health data has never been more urgent.

A company tracked visits to 600 Planned Parenthood locations for anti-abortion ads, senator says

The details in Wyden's letter, sent Tuesday morning, reveal what’s believed to be the largest publicly known location-driven anti-abortion ad campaign.

If there are people around you who believe “it won’t be *that* bad,” people who are annoyed by what they perceive as liberal “alarmism,” just read this out loud to them a few times and force them to actually reflect on what Miller is outlining here. It’s utterly terrifying.

Ex-Twitter post from @RonBrownstein: “The second scenario, Miller said, would involve sending National Guard forces from nearby Republican-controlled states into what he called an “unfriendly state” whose governor would not willingly join the deportation program.”

The problem with universal Healthcare was never that it was radical or complicated. The issue has always been that rich people, mostly in the insurance and pharmaceutical industries, would not be able to make nearly as much money under that system.

What’s harder to believe? That universal healthcare is so radical and complicated that we’re the only country in the world without it. Or… The millions of dollars in insurance and pharma campaign donations each year to members of Congress are actually just bribes to block it.

Here is my most recent image of the Orion Nebula (first with a dedicated astro camera). It was my first test using NINA (which then quickly became my default capture software). It's only 6 x30 sec exposures in Bortle 7/8 skies. It's so bright! Skywatcher MN190, ZWO 2600mc. 🔭 #astrophotography

An image of the famous Orion Nebula. It's a large, bright Nebula, which fills the frame & shows hues of red & blue. The brightest part is at centre-left, and contains the trapezium: a group of 4 stars close together forming the verices of an imagined trapezium (although two other faint companion stars may be visible in large telescopes).
