Got through the ends of 5 shows today though which isn't bad considering I don't watch as much anime as I used to (i literally don't have time to sit through everything any more!)
2 shows left to finish - Tasuuketsu and Quality Assurance. Only have way through each of them so not going to get round to them today.
Surprising as they don't usually get much but HIDIVE had a couple of the best shows this past season. (Shame their website and player aren't very good though)
Dungeon People - Really enjoyed this one. Comfy take on dungeon keeping with OP protagonists that were fun to watch.
Oshi no Ko S2 - Great stuff throughout, although I thought not quite as good as S1. My full thoughts that I wrote pre-finale are on our Anime UK News Roundup! animeuknews.net/2024/10/summ...
Rather like the unreliable UK weather this summer, the Summer anime series have been stop-start, affected by the Paris Olympics, some off-air for a few weeks in mid-run and/or finishing at 10 episodes...
Bye Bye Earth - This show had some promise, a good mystery and an overall likable cast, but slowly succumbs to the weight of its lore until it becomes an incomprehensible mess of ideas.
Senpai is an Otokonoko - Although I approached the series with a bit caution, it turned out actually pretty okay and the ending is pretty nice. Think some of the relationship stuff could have been handled better, but for the gender non-conforming stuff it handles it better than I expected.
Shikanoko - Started well but lost steam as it went on where the jokes really weren't landing. People compare it to Nichijou but I'd say it's closer to Pop Team Epic in tone, but there's only so far you can push the joke of the main girl being a deer.
Let's see what summer anime I can finish off today...
