Yeah it was a bit desperate, but processes like that can be misused to cause problems for people and he was expert at that at least. Brennan and her terfs joining in with GamerGate was amusing at the time, now pretty common for "GCs" and open misogynist groups to collab!

Unlikely to affect bsky, unless someone on here decides to try and use the same legal route to cause trouble. An individual adding to a list = absolutely fine according to ICO. Group of people collaborating on a list = possibly subject to Data Protection law. Which since then has got even more -

We got out of it because @/TheBlockBot was ran by people in the US, and I was just technical admin at that time with no access to add/remove. If not then the "GamerGate" assholes who made complaints might have caused me legal trouble.

Cool, I didn't know labellers existed. So rather than mute it puts a warning label on the account's tweets? How does it function differently in "hide" to a mute, or doesn't it?
