Spent 6 years working on Avatar 2 and left 2 years before it got out. No credit (ofc), not a single word from the studio or the production. Not that I was particularly proud, but I thought about the hundreds of artists that work on this and had to move on before it got out. I feel your pain.
I shall add that AI os a fantastic tool and carries a huge potential in many fields, as well as some already solid tools and results. Alas', what became the mainstream use is not helping society move forward...
I am a software dev, I've been in or around AI for my entire career. Your book is a well thought, carefully crafted and pondered work. Generative AI is the exact inverse. I'd recommend you deny. We are well underway in the expertise destruction movement, genAI as it is used now will accelerate it.
