I was living rurally and so the only way I could see a therapist was through Betterhelp. I was telling the therapist I thought I might have burn out because the symptoms matched and she was like "Burn out is a specific thing from working too hard, you can't have that because you make comics"

I can kill him. Right now I have to be strong but later I can take him home and kill him. I get to kill him. I don't have to take this, I get to kill him. And I'm not upset about it at all"

been entertaining myself with an au where they are fake dating. it is a disaster. this means it is very funny for me.

Rex, a tall slender man wearing a gray tank-top and black jeans with snaps along the outside seams, leans over Haven, who is a much broader pale man laying completely naked on a white leather couch. Haven looks very excited to see Rex; Rex looks a lot less excited to be talking to Haven. Haven is messing with a silver iPad with a green stylus, and Rex is looking over so he can see the screen. They have a brief exchange: Rex: Hey what-- Rex: is that a spreadsheet? Haven: Yes! Rex: You're working? Haven: No- this is for fun! Rex, whose dialogue quickly devolves into jagged, messy annoyed scribbles: Oh my fucking sevens you're so Fucking lame i can't believe i had forgotten how fucking disolix i fucking am for getting into this with you. Repurposed the fancy jaw element from that picture of Haven into a header for my main tumblr, because I was bored with the one I had before. It's edgy but eh... it's cool looking.

A scene shows a dark view of the tops of several trees just before dawn, with the sky lightening from dark blue to light blue and bright orange at the lowest points, where it vanishes behind the trees. Overlaid on top of this is a flat drawing of the mouth of a dragon, outlined in eye-searing red. It has several long, curving fangs, and sharp molars for crushing, and the tongue in the center of the mouth is forked. Around it dance stylized gusts of flame, also in eye-searing red and with triangle shapes cut out of them, and faint but visible around those are dimmer red waves tracing the outline of all the fire and the dragon's head.

Haven, a pale man with long red hair, stands stiffly in an outdoor place in the dark, silhouetted by the faint shapes of trees against the slowly-lightening sky behind him. He is visibly cold and frustrated, with blue lips and very red cheeks, and he has his fists clenched tightly at his sides. He is also standing directly in the beam of three separate sprinklers, and drenched head-to-toe. His gray shirt has a deep v-neck that reveals his pallid chest, and where it sticks to his skin it's partially translucent. His pants are a thicker material and very dark, and nothing can be seen through them, but they reflect the light like they're absolutely saturated, too. In the very background, just over the trees, the sun is beginning to be visible; and in front of his tangled, soaking-wet hair, Haven's glowing red pupils stand out against his face with a bright and intense red glow.

Velan ket'Oserisades, an OC, sits on some sort of cushioned stool and holds a teacup over a saucer in both hands. She is looking toward someone off-screen and speaking, looking a bit perplexed. She has dark skin, white hair, and luminous red eyes. She has pointed ears that have been clipped at the tips to look more rounded, and a few wrinkles on her face. She is also wearing a blue shirt with snaps down the center, brown and blue-gray pants with snaps in a spiraling pattern down the length of the leg, and a wool-lined red and cream leather vest that also clearly has snaps in unusual places, as the sleeves have been removed and snaps to put them back on are visible.
