13) ParaNorman (2012) Laika's my fave animation studio, and this tale of a boy who talks to ghosts & encounters zombies is their greatest. Love all the homages it pays to horror, & the visuals are amazing, but it's the STORY that seizes the heart & refuses to go. Silly and tragic in equal measure.
