And, like I hate to break it to y'all but if you make a trans OC or date a trans person, some asshole WILL call you a fetishist or a chaser. You gotta be confident in your own ethical decisions to know that they're just being a dick! No other trans person's approval is gonna do that for you!

But if you're still out there worrying more about making an "inoffensive" OC or not being labeled a chaser? You're not really helping the problem. If you interact with the trans community, you will offend somebody. Our existence is offensive to a lot of people. Get over yourself and join the fight.
Also like, with the number of us that started our own trans journey by making trans OCs or trans headcanons of existing characters before we knew we were trans? Immediately judging all cis people who make trans characters is more likely to hurt an egg than a bigot imo
