It did mean @nightwyrm.xyz had to spend a bunch of effort filtering out spammers and words we didn't want, like kiwifarms was picked up for a while. But it meant that people would accidentally post and that is powerful.

@nightworm.bsky.social was for us the hero each community needs Not magic or whiz bang app. A human. Who cares.

Lot of trial and error 😅. It includes a mute list too so I can easily remove spam accounts.
