I feel kind of bad for Bronny. It's hard enough to follow in those footsteps without having your father in the same room.
So this morning I gave him a hug and told him I really wanted to be a good dad who is good at taking care of him. Because I couldn't think of a better way to explain to him how fast he's growing up and how much I want to make sure I don't waste this time with him.
And at the end I sat there and got all choked up because I'd just scrolled through the first 8 years of his life and it goes by SO FAST. I looked at pictures of him that I remembered taking because I thought "Wow look how old he looks today" and went "Oh my god, he was so little."
So I had to hard reset my phone a few years back and lost all my older pictures. But I still have the phone before that one, so I'm missing pictures from 2020/2021 but have the rest. And I opened up that old phone last night to go through the older pictures.
