I’d be willing to bet that, given the hundreds of humans Thomas Jefferson directly enslaved in his life, and the thousands of their descendants he condemned to slavery, and the tens of millions of Black people whom he consigned to chattel slavery through the application of his “brilliance” . . . 1/2
