if you want some advice, i’d say that getting references (real people or stylized depending on style), and tracing over it to find the shapes that make up the body helps a lot! at least in my experience, breaking things down into smaller steps makes the process less overwhelming

yeah i’ve mostly noticed it in online spaces and in the west, i haven’t really ventured much to the east so i can’t really say anything on their behave but it’s pretty disheartening to see younger artists quit because they’re pressured away from stylization to be more “skilled”
