Woohoo!!! 🙌🙌🙌 And love the 2035 Initiative shout-out 😇
I feel seen. My littlest just started daycare one month ago and was juuuuuuust starting to get the rhythm down, and now 🤦🏽♂️
On top of that, getting closer to bills like CA SB 261 with mandatory reporting of plans to "reduce and adapt to climate-related financial risk." The current SEC ruling effectively makes this optional if a firm doesn't deem these risks to be material, and that's just not enough...
Ratcheting down the threshold for required emissions disclosure would be a start, so that it's not just large accelerated filers and some AFs. This is what EU's CSRD is planning in the future, to lower costs of compliance for smaller firms once standardization of disclosed info becomes "harmonised"
Woot!! 🎉🎉
Technically it *is* Net Zero under current definitions, e.g. IPCC: NZ is "when anthropogenic emissions are balanced by anthropogenic removals." It's the whole tragedy of it all, firms/countries can just offset their way out of actual reductions That, and there's no biting legal enforcement...yet
Haha thanks, you know it's not truly greenwashing unless it's in Comic Sans
Yes absolutely!
