Just processed another photo from earlier this year! Chaotic Serenity...my perspective on witnessing an afternoon thunderstorm in the high sierra! Higher Res version on my flickr page! D3s + Tamron 15-30mm 2.8, processed in Adobe Camera Raw and Topaz Gigapixel.
Haha yes! I was thinking something similar 🙌
Beautiful shot!
a messy photo of Pauli from this morning. i found him by following the sounds of Crows and Chickadees sounding the alarm - hence the Owl looking up towards the sky, scoping out his adversaries the crows left shortly after I arrived, and Pauli found a new perch to nap on for the rest of the day 🦉
Here’s a Firecrest feeding in an ivy bloom 🌸. The flowers are not so spectacular but the bird more than compensates for that. I snapped the photo in October 2020 at South Gare, NE England. 🪶#UKbirding
Experienced one of the most wonderful sunsets yesterday. We went out to Lake Tyrell - an ancient, inland salt lake that has salt beaches. The calm, flat water reflected so well, I couldn’t tell where Earth stopped and the sky began. And then the stars came out (Bortle 1) and it was too much! 😭
There’s been a showy long-staying Ring Ouzel on Staines Moor. It’s been interesting watching it get bigger as it preps for migration.
